INTENT
Start with intent. Not input.
Intent in the Agentic Age is not a single, stable statement. Users may have conflicting goals, undisclosed constraints, or preferences they discover only after seeing an option. Generative UX (genUX) must support intent discovery, formation and negotiation, not merely intent capture.
Design
The definition of usability itself is being rewritten.
The command-based usability paradigm served us magnificently for six decades, and represented genuine intellectual design achievement. But the world is shifting under our feet, and we humans must shift with it, not by abandoning what we know, but by recognising that the definition of usability itself is being rewritten.
Orchestration
Intelligence is orchestrated, not a single endpoint.
Intelligence orchestration is the new architecture to help decide what AI should do, and where human judgement belongs.
